AqiNode ( aqinode.click) is a product company. This Policy explains how we handle personal information across the main website, product websites and applications, accounts, product usage, analytics, and support interactions. Different products may handle information differently, where a product has materially different practices, that product's documentation will take precedence over this general Policy.
We collect only what is relevant and reasonably necessary for the product or interaction at hand. We do not sell personal information as a business practice.
1. Information We May Collect
What we collect depends on whether you are visiting the marketing site, contacting us, or using a specific product. Not every category below applies to every product.
Information you provide
Depending on the product or interaction, you may provide:
- Name and email
- Account and profile information (where a product requires an account)
- Messages and support requests
- Project context or feedback
- Product inputs, such as text, prompts, files, or data you choose to submit
- Other content you create inside a product
Our site form at aqinode.click/contact does not store submissions on our servers. It builds a mailto: link that opens your email client to aqinodelabs@gmail.com. What you send is what appears in that email.
Automatically collected information
Depending on the implementation, website or a specific product, we may process standard technical information such as:
- IP address
- Device, browser, and operating system
- Usage information and product interaction
- Pages or features visited, and referring page
- Error logs and performance information
- Approximate location derived from technical information
- Timestamps of interaction
This helps us understand what is useful, what is slow, and where things break. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
2. Product Data
Different AqiNode products may process different categories of information depending on what the product does.
For example, Webyte AI (AI website builder) may process text and business context you provide to generate a site, while an education product like Aven may handle assignment and progress information differently. We do not make one blanket claim that every product collects or stores all user data, each product handles only what it needs to provide its specific functionality.
Where a product stores content you create, that is to provide the feature you asked for, not to repurpose it elsewhere. Product-specific documentation is the source of truth for what a given product does today (see aqinode.click/products).
3. How Information Is Used
We use personal information only where it is relevant and reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and operate the products you request
- Manage accounts and deliver requested functionality
- Respond to enquiries and provide support
- Improve products, debugging, performance, and development
- Keep products secure and prevent fraud or abuse
- Understand aggregate product and site usage via analytics
- Communicate about products where permitted
- Comply with legal obligations where they apply
4. AI Data
Some AqiNode products use artificial intelligence. Where a product processes prompts, files, text, or other information through AI systems, that information is processed to provide the AI functionality you requested, for example, to generate a response, assist with a task, or power a feature.
We do not make blanket claims about training. We do not claim here that your data is used to train AI models, nor do we claim it is never used for training, unless a specific product's terms explicitly guarantee one or the other. If different products have different AI-data policies, the product-specific terms take precedence. Always check the relevant product's documentation for the detail that applies to that product.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information to an AI-enabled feature through general website channels unless we have explicitly asked for it and agreed on how it will be handled.
7. International Processing
Some AqiNode infrastructure or providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to consider the relevant legal and data-protection requirements for transfers and to work with providers that handle data responsibly. We do not make unsupported compliance claims beyond that.
8. Data Retention
Retention depends on the product, purpose, and context, for example:
- Whether the information is needed to keep an account or product functional
- Whether it is needed for security, debugging, or legal obligations
- Whether the account is active or has been closed
- The architecture of the specific product
We do not invent exact retention periods here. Where a product has a specific retention schedule, it will be described with that product. Otherwise, we keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, then delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights such as:
- Access
- Correction
- Deletion
- Restriction
- Objection
- Consent withdrawal where processing is based on consent
- Data portability where applicable and technically feasible
- Complaints to an appropriate authority where law provides for it
To exercise these rights or ask a question, use the official options on aqinode.click/contact, including email at aqinodelabs@gmail.com. We will respond consistently with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, secure hosting, and monitoring. No internet-connected system can be promised as absolutely secure, so we are careful about what we collect and we do not promise absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
AqiNode products are not intentionally designed to collect children's personal information unless a specific product explicitly says otherwise. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, please contact us via aqinode.click/contact and we will review and take appropriate action.
12. Third-Party Websites
Our site and products may link to external websites or services (for example, X / Twitter, WhatsApp, or client products). We are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, or content. Review their policies directly.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy as our products, services, technology, and data practices evolve. When we make material revisions, we will update the "Last Updated" date. We encourage periodic review. Product-specific privacy terms, where they exist, will be updated with the relevant product.
14. Contact
Questions about this Policy? Reach us through the official options on aqinode.click/contact, including email at aqinodelabs@gmail.com, WhatsApp, or X / Twitter. For product-specific questions, the relevant product's support or documentation is the best place to start. See also Terms and FAQ.
This Policy describes general practices and is not a substitute for professional legal advice. Where product-specific obligations apply, refer to that product's terms.
